More than you want to know

I always carry my camera with me when I walk hoping to see something of interest for my blog.  This morning I glanced at this robin and moon juxtaposition but continued on down the sidewalk.  Then it struck me.  Stop!  That was a photo opp!  Go back!  But then I thought no, birds have tricked me many times, by the time I walk back he will be gone or he will take off just as I raise my camera, they always do!  But then I thought, no, when I retired I promised myself to never pass up a photo opportunity.  So I walked back and the Robin and the moon were still there!  I got the shot and then... the moon disappeared into the fog!

Speaking of go, here is the shortest route to the V Star swimming pool from my apartment.  It is exactly .8383 miles.  Lucky me!  I bought an annual pass.  This week I started doing five laps.  Next week six.  I love it.  I used to do laps when I was in my forties.  I'm not doing this trying to live longer.  I'm doing it to feel better TODAY!!
