700

Well peeps, my seven hundredth blog!!  This is my first one posted October 6th, 2006.
I've come a long way baby but I'm still here.  There have been times I thought I had done everything there is to do in Fort Bragg; nothing left to walk and gawk but the other evening I was walking home from the crab feed and saw a whole different version of Fort Bragg that I never see during my wee morning meanders.  I realize I have hardly scratched the surface of this town.  There is so much more to learn and see.
Also, because of blogging, I have met a great bunch of folks in the blogging world who I have never met!  They are over there in the side bar.  They help keep me going, inspire me and a special thanks to "Anonymous".  You know who you are and thanks for all the comments! :-)

I recently discovered a site called Blog2Print.  They will convert my blog into a book.  I decided to give it a try.  I had my blogs from October 6th to December 31st, 2006 put into book form.  Above and below are the results.  I'm impressed.  They do a nice job.  The down side is they are very expensive.  It will cost me over $350.00 to print out the seven books it will take to cover 700 blogs!

Nuts yeah, but I'm going to do it.
I'm a Blogger!!

  1. Hi Ron,
    Happy 700th Blogday!
So what did you see on the way home from the crab feed?
I've been catching up - I loved the hawk photos.
Any news yet about the results from the monitor?
    Keep up the good work!

  5. Yeah, that book looks nice. I don't have the $350 right now. Your first post was so wordy -- but then I always was a fan of your stories. You've come a very long way!

  6. I think it's worth it. Think of all the things you've wasted $350 on over the years.

This isn't a waste at all
