As some of you who follow this blog know I have been in Shoreline, Washington for a couple of months as the primary caregiver for my 93 year old mother-in-law. What I haven't blogged about is her declining energy level and lack of "air". Yesterday the decision was finally made to call 911 and transport her to the University of Washington Hospital. She was admitted and after a series of tests and exams they think she has a blood clot in her lung. They are going to keep her through the weekend, at least. So, I am going to take a much needed break and go camping. Her family will be with her through the weekend. Monday I will return and find out what's next.
Signing off until Monday.
Sorry to hear about "mom" --here's sending get well wishes to her. And here's to a relaxing, rejuvinating weekend to you!ReplyDelete
Bloody hell. Hope there's good news. Give her my best.ReplyDelete
Ron, I'm glad you could get a break. I'm just sorry how it came about. I'm glad Margaret's getting the care she needs.ReplyDelete
Well wishes for your MIL. I'm glad to hear you are taking off to go trekking; can't wait to see where you decided to venture off to...ReplyDelete
Hope all goes well for you both. Fresh air, exercise and its consequent relaxation should work some magic for you. All the best.ReplyDelete
