Lenticular clouds forming off Mount Rainier.
"Sky Watch Friday" is an interesting blog that happens every.... Friday!
Folks from around the world post their photo of the sky.
This is not my photo but rather a photo my son Jeff recently took while flying in the Seattle/Tacoma area. Jeff has his private pilots license and keeps his hand in by renting a Cessna and going for a spin, now and then, while building his own plane at home. To see the plane he is building use this link and then click on RV-7/A in the left column.
Awesome photo!
ReplyDeleteI think this is the 3rd post I've seen of this for this week's SWF--which is a GOOD thing! They are all from different perspectives, but these clouds are so incredible that they merit many different views. Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe light is so magical!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture your son took...thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteSo mystic and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBTW, your story about walking put me to think...
Excellent. Lenticular clouds are hard to get right.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! I certainly can't capture anything nearly this interesting where I live!
ReplyDeleteReally, really wonderful shot!
love this shot and the perspective and color...so different.
ReplyDeleteCool photo! Did he take that last week, because that looks like the cloud formation I saw one evening while I was out there last week?
ReplyDeleteJeff took the photo the 7th of December.
ReplyDeleteLet me join the crowd, AWESOME! Kudos to Jeff.
