Elger Bay

My mother-in-law bought property and build a small cabin on Elger Bay in the early 1940's.  Since she is doing so much better and the weather forecast looked promising I asked her if she would like to go to the cabin for the weekend.  "Sure!"

I must say, I enjoy the cabin too and am a great fan of watching the tide come in and then go out!!  This photo of my Crocs, my tea and the bay!

During one of my early morning walks on the Island I discovered how Mountain View Road got it's name.

Surprisingly, here is an American Goldfinch on the beach!!

The resident Eagles like to perch in the trees behind the cabin and watch over the bay for sign of fish.

The resident crows hate it and try to drive the Eagle off.

Although distracted from fish patrol it seems the Eagle will not leave until it wants to.

We had a splendid time.
