Trick? Or Treat?

I spotted this display in Safeway this morning.  I'm old enough to remember the days of using a carving knife and a spoon!

Seldom do I see the blinds open at "The Coast" but this morning they happened to be open and I could see Scott playing the tunes.  I walked the rest of the way home listening to KZOT 95.3 FM on my Zune!

  1. Hello Ron and good day to you! I forget to check out your blogs sometimes for too long at a time. I can't tell you how much I loved looking at these Fort Bragg pictures today. They brought back memories of the 41 years I lived in Fort Bragg and how much I loved Halloween, both getting the kids in hand-made costumes and making the treats for the door-to-door tricksters.
And by the way, early morning Fort Bragg and Noyo were familiar to me from the days when I used to drive Paul down to Noyo about 4 a.m. in fishing season so I'd have the pickup to use.
Your pictures of the walk around town and around out of town at the beaches make me think basic things haven't changed much there, but can that be true? Maybe the beloved essentials are mostly the same, and you can be thankful for that. It was always a lovely place to live.
