Day Two and Whining and Sniveling Already!!

6:30 AM and I'm off to a good start on the "Middle Sector" of Fort Bragg. Heading east on Redwood Avenue I see the moon is waining over the Golden West Saloon.

Another Weather Vane for my collection!

Here's the Boat House I promised.

The sun clears the coastal hills at 7:13 AM, if I remember right! I should have made a note, I was in "Walkers Zone".
Okay, here's a test. Question: Which direction do you think I'm facing? North, South, East or West?

Here's the new, uncompleted Aquatic Center.

****
It was right about here where I realized I had added an extra block to today's route and it was right about here where the little toe on my right foot started getting a blister?!!

A nice collection of "Blue Glass".

Somebody recently started flying an ultra lite out of the small private airfield north of town. This morning I captured it flying east on Maple.

Today's Bumper Sticker. Heh. Heh.

9:39 AM and I'm back at the Headland's Coffee House. I walked a total of 9.32 miles! You can see on the GPS my "boo-boo" where I accidentally added another block by walking on south to Chestnut. And a big block at that, an extra half a mile! As far as my toe goes, this morning I had tried out some thinner socks and paid for it. I have drained the blister and will give "Mole skin" a try tomorrow. This is awful early in my "plan" to have this happen. It's not like I'm doing the Pacific Coast Trail or "LeJog" with a big backpack! Shesssh!

  1. Looking at the compass on the window of the car I'd say you are looking WEST, right?
