Day Six. Bucolic Sunday

This morning's route was east out the A&W haul road and back. I'm told there was an A&W Root Beer stand where the haul road came into town back in the 60's. Now long gone.

The Noyo River with the tide out.

A pond with cat tails.

3.35 miles and my turn-around point. Perfect!

Scotch Broom in bloom.

Trillium.

Typical road through the woods.

There's no accounting for some folks.

A Common Merganser.

Here's the bucolic part.

And finally, the ubiquitous Banana Slug.

  3. Ron, brings back memories. I used to take that walk nearly every weekend (back 20 years ago when I was a young thing).
