Hi! The ducks are a male and female Mallard. When in doubt Mallard is always a safe bet. The males are distinctive but the females are not and people are always trying to make them out to be something more exotic. The bird in front is a coot as in "that crazy old coot!" (I'm sure you've never heard that one! :)
