It rained during the night and it rained right after my walk but between rain, I had an opportunity to take some photos for Sky Watch Friday. 
Here's a sign in the window of the Golden West Saloon that will become a collectors item. I think the only way smoking is still allowed here is because this "saloon" has been in business since the 1800's.

ReplyDeleteThe Smoking Sign is certainly rare now... over here many pubs/bars are struggling because of this ban.. I used to smoke but don't any more, I find it hard to think the law can stop folk from doing this where certain rooms are set aside.

The first shot reminds me of that scene in "Bridges of Madison County" when Meryl Streep was in the truck with her husband, hand on the doorknob, unsure whether to jump out and join Clint Eastwood. Wonderful....
