I started this "Walking Fort Bragg" blog on October 6th of 2006 and can't count the number of times I have walked or driven past this welcome to Fort Bragg sign and never noticed the Fort Bragg part is backwards.I guess, because I have lived in or near this town since 1984, I already knew this was Fort Bragg and just never really looked.

ReplyDeleteIt took me a couple hours to Photoshop that image and get it to blend back together properly!
Geez, after seeing this image we had a discussion at our house about how unobservant we are about the familiar. Then I went for a drive down Main Street with my car's side mirror adjusted just right...only to see that I'm not so unobservant - just gullible. Photoshop is sooo scary.
