Paint job.

I'm off to my son's place near Seattle to help him paint his RV-7/A.  He has spent over three years building it and now it is almost ready for paint.

He wants it to end up looking something like this only in red and white.

We figure it will take most of July to pull it off.  I will post updates.

Best kept secrets are best kept secret!

6:30 AM at the V. Star Pool.

I know better than to mention this but most of you folks live elsewhere so.....
I'm old enough to know you don't tell people about your favorite place, be it a camping spot or a favorite restaurant.  If you do it isn't long until word has spread and your favorite spot becomes crowded.

I was reading through the forums of the Masters Swim Association last evening and someone mentioning they had to share their lane with twenty other swimmers!!  E-gad!

I had not realized how lucky I am to have the place to myself most mornings at 6:30 AM.

Please don't tell anyone!

Noticings

I couldn't help but notice the interesting cloud display this morning and wondered if this is indicative of the wind that is promised all weekend.

And I couldn't help but notice this Blue on Blue and it reminded me of the blog I wrote, "Blue Monday", while in Shoreline, WA.

And this.  I remember these "drawings?", made with line after line of colored pens, when they first showed up in the late 1970's  This one seems to have finally lost it's appeal and was quietly waiting by the curb to be snatched or tossed.

And what's this?  An almost seventy year old man who's major purchases are walking shoes and swim goggles?  Whoot Whoot!

Walking and Gawking

I've had my head underwater a lot lately and although swimming is good for me it sure puts a dent in my gawking!  Today I needed to walk to a store out South Franklin way and since we are having a break in our wettest Spring in years, I took my camera along and shot what caught my eye.

I was intrigued by this building and the ongoing attempt to stay ahead of the taggers and noticed this guy coming down the alley on his bike.  It is all in the timing!!

Good Job!

The sign says "No Parking".  Right!

Shredded but hanging in!
