Flower Walk

I don't know them but I sure do enjoy them.

  1. I don't know the names of all of these either, but I'll bet you know your two dogwoods (they get rained on up there too?). The tiny blue-star shaped ground cover one is called Lithodora, and you are familiar with that from Ft Bragg. It even grows out of the cracks in the sidewalk in front of City Hall.

    Great shots, Ron!

  2. Really beautiful blooms Ron.

The white ones second from last look like Aquilegia to me and the orange / red ones (7th down) could well be Wallflowers. Though they may have different names over there.
A few I have never seen before.
Must have been a nice cheerful walk.

  3. The last ones are petunias. The second from the top are "candytuft". Then looks like apple blossoms, then double flowered lilacs after that. I agree with wallflower for the fire-orange ones. Also concur with Aquilegia (Columbine) for the pretty spurred white ones.

I can certainly enjoy flowers I can't name, but I enjoy discovering their names too!
