911 in the driveway!

As some of you who follow this blog know I have been in Shoreline, Washington for a couple of months as the primary caregiver for my 93 year old mother-in-law.  What I haven't blogged about is her declining energy level and lack of "air".  Yesterday the decision was finally made to call 911 and transport her to the University of Washington Hospital.  She was admitted and after a series of tests and exams they think she has a blood clot in her lung.  They are going to keep her through the weekend, at least.  So, I am going to take a much needed break and go camping.  Her family will be with her through the weekend.  Monday I will return and find out what's next.

Signing off until Monday.
