Number 400

Let's have a small drum roll please........

Today is my 400th Post!!

My first post was "this one" on October 6th, 2006.  The blogs that inspired me to start my own are now gone but over these years I have discovered other blogs that continue to inspire me and keep me going.  Beating the Bounds photography and interesting countryside and my "hit" of the Midwest via Wandering Around Kansas; hikers and photographers and, more and more, writers who write wonderful blogs.  These folks and others you will find listed on the left side of this page.

And Elaine's recent blog inspired me to walk by Fort Bragg's Methodist church to take a photo of the "Peace" sign they have.

Anyway, onward.
In the Safeway parking lot I see someone creamed the shopping cart parking area.

Crossing the Noyo Bridge I noticed the local Coast Guard heading out of the harbor.

Over by Pomo Bluffs Park this young deer was holding very still while watching me walk by.

Returning via Franklin Street I see more decoration in place for Halloween.

This tomato plant is cutting it close.  The warm days of Summer are over.  All in all, it wasn't a banner year for tomatoes on the coast.

And at the Coast Cinema..., the comedy "W" (A Life Misunderestimated).
Too bad I can't afford the twelve dollars for a ticket, popcorn and soft drink!

  1. Congratulations, Ron! That's a heckuva lot of blogging!

I didn't realize the Methodists had a "thing" for these. It looks like yours has some Russian, which we lack. And thank you for the link. 8^)
